I was really sad to read that Yohji Yamamoto is the latest of the fashion houses to file for bankruptcy protection with debts of $67 million.
According to the New York Times, the designer will continue to operate under Japan’s corporate rehabilitation law, and will continue his work as a designer.
Yohji Yamamoto was one of the forerunners of the Minimalist movement in the 80's which re-defined fashion.
